What the yearbook said

Barbara Darling — Darling Barbara! These two names are synonymous, and a brown-haired, laughing-eyed girl answers to them. Her rippling laugh peals out often to characterize her as fun-loving. This does not mean, however that her studies are neglected. Ask her teachers, and they will tell you that she is studious and attentive in all of her classes. She came here from the Roosevelt School in the fall of 1925. She may have appeared meek to the seniors of that year, but she could not remain so long. We now hear from her in the Girls’ Club, the French Club, and the Poetry Club, in all of which she is an active member. Next year she goes to a prep school in Cambridge. We all wish you the best of success, “Barb,” both in prep school and in whatever college you may attend.
