What the yearbook said
Behold ! Eleanor Norwood Greene, most commonly known as “Ellie,” who first saw the light of day September 2, 1911. However, she did not arrive in Melrose until the beginning of her sophomore year when she came from Lexington Junior High School where she occasionally returns to see the "buds.” “Ellie” is distinguished for a number of things, lack of telephone, hilarious laughter, but above all, keeping a marcel wave and resisting the call of a barber. No wonder when the hoys meet “Ellie” they are all at SEA. “Ellie” is undecided as to what her career will he after she leaves M. H. S. but if her future can be judged by her past, she will certainly prove a success.
