What the yearbook said
“Always smiling, ever glad, Always striving, never sad.” Vivacious, charming, and alluring is Harriet, the “flaming youth” of our class. Her rosy cheeks and light auburn (or shall we say red) hair, together with her omnipresent smile, make her irresistible. But her perseverance, which has recruited the Belmontian’s finances by appealing to the sweet tooth of the students and which has made her of general but indispensable utility in 107, will prove equally irresistible when surmounting future obstacles. We shall always remember Harriet as one does an especially vivid autumn day, or a glowing sunset.
