Johnnie possesses more titles than even Prince Tobytum (one of Sylvia’s host of suitors), having been Debating Society President, Hockey Captain, Football Manager, Chameleon Business Manager, Tennis Captain as well as a student of renown, not to mention his widespread repute as a debater. In short you have Archimedes, Pythagoras, Demosthenes, Caesar and perhaps Romeo, combined in one individual. Since John is decidely an all-round chap, figuratively speaking, it’s difficult ro find any particular angle on which to hang knocks or compliments — more probably the latter.
