In college three and onehalf years as undergraduate. Bowditch Scholarship, 1917-1918; Class of 1856 Scholarship, 1919-1920. Informal Baseball Team, 1918. Kappa Sigma Fraternity, Treasurer, 1919-1920; Pi Eta Society, St. Paul's Catholic Club, Vice- President, 1918-1919; President, 1919-1920; Phillips Brooks House Cabinet, 1919-1920. A broken leg sustained in the Harvard- Princeton baseball game in April, 1918, prevented military service.
