In college three years as undergraduate. Freshman Hockey Squad, Second Hockey Team, Captain, 1919-1920. Country Day School Club, Speakers' Club, Pi Eta Society, Hasty Pudding Club, Institute of 1770, D.K.E., Owl Club. Chief Quartermaster, U. S. N. R. F;, April to December, 1917. Received Medical Survey on account of poor eyes. Enlisted in Corps of Intelligence Police (Army) as Sergeant, February, 1918. Recommended for direct commission November, 1918. Discharged November, 1918. Married Miss Katharine Urquhart Fellowes, of Buffalo, June 25, 1919.
